Pombal's Room
Widely common in the Trás-os-Montes landscape, the pigeon lofts are still part of the typical houses that we can find beyond the mountain of Marão. And it was in this room that, during almost two centuries, have passed several flocks of pigeons.
In this double bedroom, the most autonomous one in the house and with direct access to the exterior, the Blue prevails. We could say it was a reference to the bluest sky of the Marvelous Kingdom (as the portuguese poet Miguel Torga named this region), but it is a tribute to something that means a lot to us: the sea.
Every bedroom has an unique feature: the traditional embroidery of Miranda do Douro. Even though many looms have been muted over time, there are still those who give them life.
